By embodying these qualities, the commons succeeds in its mission to catalyze the regeneration of its shared resource but also to maintain a healthy community that is collectively committed to that regeneration and actively participating in it. The commons design moves us one step further away from extractive capitalist models and one step closer to planetary health.
