Fork Forest, born out of a ReFi initiative by members of Fork DAO in late 2022, is dedicated to combating deforestation and environmental degradation. Operating as a separate entity while maintaining strong collaboration and support from Fork DAO, Fork Forest has demonstrated its commitment to environmental restoration and sustainability through various impactful projects. One notable success was the reforestation project in the province of Córdoba, where Fork Forest effectively rehabilitated an area ravaged by a devastating fire. Beyond environmental initiatives, Fork Forest prioritizes community empowerment by providing training and education on crypto and web3 technologies to equip local communities with the skills necessary to engage actively in the digital economy and decentralized platforms.
